Dolls for Adoption    

As a new service,  G & M Doll Restoration Seminars is pleased to announce the addition of "Dolls for Adoption". 

Many of the dolls listed are in original condition or have been restored.  Special  care has been taken to give a

complete description of each doll regarding their originality and/or restoration.   All restoration work has been

completed by JoAnn Mathias, owner and certified Doll Doctor. 

Feel free to ask questions as we wish these dolls to be placed in loving homes where they will be cherished

for many years to come.  Enjoy looking and hopefully one of our dollies will touch your heart and become

part of your collection or the start of a doll collection.  Please no International sales.

Antique Heinrich Handwerck Bisque Doll 22"

Marked: 109 12N Dep Germany Handwerck 4

Perfect bisque head on jointed body with blond mohair wig.  Body is put

together with spare parts that match the size of the head.  She has

an open mouth with 4 teeth and original blue sleep eyes that have

been reset.  Pierced ears with gold looking earrings.  The body has been restrung.

Antique Majestic Bisque Doll by Ernst Steiner- 24"

Marked:  Majestic Regd 4

Perfect bisque head on replaced leather body with riveted hips.  Head

designed by Edmund Steiner but manufactured by possibly Armand

Marseilles.  Lower arms and lower legs are new reproduction bisque. 

 She has an open mouth with original molded porcelain teeth.  Her blue sleep eyes are in their original set with

a chip on left eyelid.  She has her original blond human hair wig and pate.  Her socks and shoes are replaced with

cotton socks and vintage plastic black tie shoes.

Mme. Alexander Composition Flora McFlimsey 15"

Marked:  Alexander Doll Company, Princess Elizabeth

All composition doll, Princess Elizabeth face, with slight crazing on all parts

but no lifting of compositon.  Open mouth with 2 teeth and eyes are slightly

crazed.  Tagged dress with panties and apron, replaced socks but original

dark blue boots.  She has a blond human hair wig in original set.

Mme. Alexander Composition Ballerina 14"

Marks:  None

All Composition doll, Wendy  Ann face, with slight crazing.  There is also a

paint chip off the lips.  She has a tagged yellow dress, undies and red

ballet shoes all original.  Need restringing but has her original human hair blond

wig.    She is in excellent condition.

Tiny Tears- 13"  Marked: American Character

Circa 1950's, Tiny has her original rubber body in perfect shape. 

She has molded painted brown hair on her hard plastic head. 

There are some small  cracks on her left hand and some

chips off hair painting on back of head.  All joints work

smoothly and she has no repairs.

                                         Alexander-type Composition Girl-13"-no marks

Composition excellent with a small crack on lower right eye socket.  Tightly strung. 

Blond mohair wig, dressed in white dress with red trim and white panties.  She is all

original with no repairs but has no shoes or socks.  Circa 1935.

Alexander Vinyl Renoir Doll-14"

Doll in excellent condition with tagged dress.  No repairs but she needs a little cleaning up. 

The dress needs new elastic in the sleeves.  Original hair, hat, pantalets, socks and shoes.

Hard Plastic Walker-22"-no marks

Doll in excellent condtion-new elastic to hold head to body.  She has a brown saran wig with lovely

painting.  Bride dress with original veil, no panties, white plastic shoes with replaced rayon socks.

Marks:  Ideal Doll P90(head), Ideal Doll P90 Made in USA (body)

Hard Plastic Toni doll with original dress and panties, vintage plastic

shoes.  She is in excellent condition with her original red blond

saran wig.
